Idyllic Stables was part of a horse farm for many years.

The farm was established circa 1970. Its primary function was breeding high-end standardbred racehorses through the late 80s. The event barn was used as the stud barn during this time. The farm was sold to the Ziegler family in 2014.

Currently, Idyllic Stables is part of a fourth-generation farming operation. In addition to hosting events, we grow cash crops and raise a few head of cattle that you may see during a visit to the Stables!

The Idyllic Stables barn was renovated with reclaimed yellow pine from the barn itself and milled ash taken from the farm property. Enjoy details such as original sliding stall doors, built-in hay troughs, and fenced-in paddocks. Updates to the barn include bathrooms, cement flooring, a prep kitchen, party lights, and reclaimed pews overlooking the dance floor from the second floor.
